Hi all, not quite seatrout I know ..but does any one fancy a bit of flyfishing for bass this year when things are quiet on the rivers. I know its going to be awkward for people living far away but a day or two could be arranged, I know a few places on the Gower where this may be done..early morning stuff mind...maybe something to think about. Glyn.

Sounds good to me Glyn, a chance to test drive my kayak. I'm thinking of calling it "Waiting to Happen".......
Do you have a large house on the beach by any chance?

Wouldn't mind fishing the mouth of the Ogmore...
Happy to go further afield though (as long as I get permission to go out).
Hey Ian, which rod are you going to sacrifice to Neptune this year then?

Done some bass fishing from the boat on fly. Best time evening if you can catch the on the surface chasing the whitebait. They really tug your string on a fly rod. Be happy to take one or two of you out one evening.

I'd love to come out if I can get the time. I used to have a go at Oxwich as a child, but on a spinner! I've got a friend who can put me up on the Gower. Keep me posted!
