Hi All, Last Xmas my Wife and Daughters bought me a Flexi Stripper for £ 29.99 and it's still the same price, here is the website www.flexi-stripper.comwww.flexi-stripper.com/Images/flexi_stripper_with_start_loop.aviI have used it on many occassions and that's all I can say is it's brilliant, lightweight it will fit around your waist or around your leg, if the line in on the Flexi Stripper and you need to come out of the water, you haven't got to reel your line in. I can't think of a better bit of kit. I have also found that when I use inter and sinkers I don't stand on my lines anymore, as the line on the tray. Glyn if you want to try it out, I can meet you on the Tawe and you can see it in action. ATB. Reeco

Hoppy
I was just going back a few posts and you said "All caught on a small blue & white bait fish pattern, fishing the tide out (and i mean out)."
Do you mean you were fishing the ebb or wading rather deeply?
Cheers

Bucko,
It was the 1hr before low tide (they were very low at the time) and until 1hr after.
It wasn't very deep (waist) but it was one hell of a long way out - perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 mile!

Hoppy Cheers Hoppy I've been catching mine this year just as the tide starts to flood and it seems there's a very brief window in which they take. However, they are east coast fish so bound to be a world apart. I might be out for them tonight, if Esk hasn't fined down enough for a spinner- luckily the mark is only 20 minutes drive from the river. I've been hearing some very interesting things about mullet in the North East and I'm convinced that the only reason people haven't caught many over the years is that everyone up here is 'cod crazy'!

Ok Dai cheers, yes you are right the fishing was poor but the food and beer went down a treat, watched the rugby..poor Wales :'(but poor poor England ;D. Yes Friday is still on ...my lot from work are up to something I think they are celebrating my birthday more than me its Franks birthday as well on the same day but 7 yrs apart so he will be coming also, I think Wind St is going to get hammered that night ;D. I was thinking about going out this afternoon, but after checking the Langland Webcam I could see the sea is still flat from this off shore wind. Glyn
