These are a few of the fish i've managed this week - couldn't get into the Salmon - but these fish are gr8! Tonights Effort River Dee in Autumn Into a fish and another I like Grayling - they feed! Hoppy ;D

Dai, i've been having them on size 18 and 20 F fly's in Tan and in green. I have also had a few on bugs - gold headed and pink!
Glyn, thats no Tarpon rod, its only a 5wt sage, a nice rod - but that Powell 4wt is really something else. I have been a sage fan for some time now, but the Powell's are in a totally different league! (plus they are black)

have you tried the scotts rods hop, i got two and i love em , six weight [9 ft six ]and a 10ft 8 weight [four piece ,] wouldnt sell mysage xp though lol

I had a go with a friends in the Salt this year, and was impressed, but the Powell's really are something special, blank quality and build are superb.

Ive seen Daz's and Dai's Powells they are...as you say very nice rods I like the Edge...they are something else. Glyn

Best factory finished rods I have ever owned!. I am going to get another 8wt purely for salt water work!...Awesome bit of kit.I just wish I could get a 10ft model for the same price as I paid for the others. ....I'm not grumbling though!. I tried the Scot rods!...Very nice bits of kit also!. DAZ.

I have the powell edge, advantage and Legacy rods! nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh! ;D Powell Legacy is a slightly older model, but an absolute beast of a rod! Daz; you will love it! 10ft 8 weight, will bring it for you to try/play with next time. Just got the 9ft 10 weight edge through, how far do you want to cast the sewin? ;D TT.

Bill, I found mine on ebay earlier this year - paid £350.00 for the Edge. I havent got the Tiboron - but i think that the XL has now replaced it - have a look at www.landbigfish.com/tacklestore/showcase.cfm?PID=4494I havent seen a UK supplier for some time - its worth a look on ebay.
