I don't think thats quite fair SB....You can't tar them all with the same brush......I know lots of arrogant Welsh b#stards!. DAZ.....A unbiased Welsh man!. True, it was the rugby team I was talking about not the English in general. I know one or two quite decent Englishmen.

Glad you enjoyed the game Dai. No doubt you enjoyed it from the comfort of home - much like the Welsh team? ;D NOW NOW PAUL ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D... Do think a few of you boys are going over the top, it`s only a game to enjoy. thats if that`s your thing, but do think some of the comments are a bit to near the bone, thats how all the bad feeling starts. best to stay . but will say, the English do keep rubbing our nose in it because we beat them all the time in the past, so now its there turn to have a go at us, but will say, when we were winning all the time the team would come home and that was that, just a small amount of banter. but when the English win look out, papers going around the streets in open top bus and ticker tape every were come on over the top or what. Dai

Never mind, SOUTH AFRICA with sort them ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Dai Do think a few of you boys are going over the top, it`s only a game to enjoy. thats if that`s your thing, but do think some of the comments are a bit to near the bone, thats how all the bad feeling starts. best to stay . banter - pot kettle black Like you say Dai it does get passionate - but thats rugby, different to Football - supporters use banter in Rugby, whereas in football they tend to use their fists! Like you say its only a game - but a great one! Hoppy

Some good banter here.
Basically the English (and any other succesful team) will be disliked for winning. When we start being crap again no-one will bother saying anything cos everyone knows we are crap. I think the Welsh (and other home nations) need to learn how and when to win ugly, but still keep their flair. The English need to get back to the way we were playing in 6 nations 2003 - powerful forwards but skillful, quick backs. (we are halfway there ;D).
Brian Ashton likes to play 'heads up rugby' - attacking from anywhere etc. so when he has had chance to get that into the players I think we will be a more complete team - its gonna take a couple of years to get that idiot Andy Robinson's mentality out of them.

I did not feel much love for the English and their coach from their supporters in Cardiff in the six nations last year!!!!! ;D You only sing when your winning.................. If you mean 2006, we have a different coach. In 2007 Brian Ashton had just started and had not left his mark (still hasn't...yet). The key mistake was giving Andy Robinson the job in the first place. He coached me for a bit when I was 18 in Bath Academy and wasn't up to much then. He is no way an international head coach. By the way what do the Welsh press do every couple of years?? Turn against the head coach and get him axed..... Still singing

T7, Must say, you do seem to dislike the Welsh reading between the your lines, it a bit sad as that is what starts the bad feeling between people. there is no need for it, as i did say only a game Dai...

You What? If you read the comments above, all I've been doing is responding to the English bashing. Come on some of the comments about the english are borderline racism but we have to grin and bear it? I haven't made any specific comments about the Welsh, just commented on the way I see things. AND I've been careful not to generalise any nations. The reason I have been talking about the Welsh team is because this is a mostly Welsh board and I am responding to the Welsh boys banter. I wouldn't last long on here hating the Welsh would I? If anyone else thinks I have been out of order towards the Welsh (or anyone else) please say and I will reconsider my position on the forum.

Glad you enjoyed the game Dai. No doubt you enjoyed it from the comfort of home - much like the Welsh team? ;D NOW NOW PAUL ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D... Dai It's just that I remember (painfully!) the '70s when the boyos in red regularly pissed all over us - suffice to say I've rather enjoyed the last few years (with the odd hiccup!). Here's looking forward to a really competitive 6 Nations. Let's hope Wales play to their undoubted potential and 'the Ashton Factor' is able to promote a more expansive game with the likes of Strettle, Tait, Flood and Ellis back in the team. It's time to say 'Goodbye' to Corey and Dayglo, magnificent though they've been and introduce a bit more dynamism into our back row play - maybe teach Moody some discipline? How about a forum get together in West Wales during the 6 Nations, say February 2nd? ;D ;D ;D

[If anyone else thinks I have been out of order towards the Welsh (or anyone else) please say and I will reconsider my position on the forum. I would like to think you would not consider anything of the sort!. I have read back through what you have written and I can see nothing wrong with any of your posts!.....I think they were very well put over actually!......Certainley no offence taken on my part.I can't read in to anything you have written that would make me think any differently. I think/hope Dai is just winding you up!....Are you Dai ?. DAZ.

I think/hope Dai is just winding you up!....Are you Dai ?. DAZ. Cheers for the support Daz. I'd like to think it was a wind up too but doesn't really sound like it... That's the trouble with not saying these things face to face is that sometimes the meaning is mistaken when you read it. We've seen things escalate on the forum before. Apart from one or two below the belt comments I like to think I have taken the banter well and given some back too.

No T7 no offence taken here either, do not worry about it! It is amazing though the number of people English and Welsh who cannot differentiate between sporting banter and abuse! I will happily dish out the grief to any England fan and expect it back all with a sense of fun (except those few public school boarder types but I think that is my inbuilt hatred of the ruling classes to be honest). Give me the humerous banter at a rugby match ahead of the violent abuse at a football match any day. I took my then 6 year old daughter and 7 year old son to both home games when Wales won the Grand slam. Could never contemplate taking them to a football match of the same importance could I! No I think rugby fans have got it right. Friendly banter and what comes around goes around thats how I see it! So T7 dont worry, be happy (Unless you are one of those arrogant English boarder types, in which case) I dont care ;D
