Thanks Diawlbach, had a great time fishing with you - even though the temperature was the wrong side of zero and the snow meant we couldn't see each other let alone the takes half the time! he he. Also, thanks for introducing me to the 'you've been tangod' fly! I must say that I was hesitant in tying it on, felt almost rule breaking , but sure enough it worked! I wonder if he has a secret version stashed away for sewin? Day 1.fishing wise, the first day was spot on, as Diawlbach demonstrated: A lovely Taff grayling of just under 40cm: In hindsight, I'm not sure if it was dedication or hypethermia that kept us at the river. Check out the blanket of snow and blizzard conditions (well, manblizzard anyway; the equivalent of manflu! ): Day 2.Why did I whisper those immortal words; "Nah, it hasn't rained for ages. This drizzle won't shift the river" Diawlbach had been out all night checking the condition of the river for us. The news was less than pleasant and had driven diawlbach to such a state of despair that he had hit the bottle! ;D Being true friends, Hoppy and Tuniwes joined in - for sympathetic reasons, of course Sorry I had to leave early, I was really looking forward to fishing allday in the rain Glad to hear you had some sport on the fishery. Having said that, it would have been better than a 5hr drive to Dartmouth Steff
