are those lamprey marks on the grayling ...if so then it is becoming sad days for the various species we all angle for they are becoming a reel bother last few years on all the Great Lakes of Ca.

Well well well! Marvellous fish Daz. That daft grin says it all ;D ;D I nearly crashed the car this afternoon - got a MM text and all I could see was a BFO grayling and Daz's pearly whites, Mrs TM boll0cked me big style for not paying attention to the road Hope you have a good one on the Dee tomorrow boys. BTW - dont think those are Lamprey marks. More likely to be predator scars from a while back - they look well healed up.

The fish that Daz caught was a monster. He also had a good few trout and some other specimen grayling. The wind was very strong and made controlling the fly hard. I managed 5 grayling and 1 trout, I did lose a big fish (nowhere as big as Daz's). It should be a good end to the season on the river. Hoppy ;D

Would just like to thank everyone for the invite to last weekends shindig. John, Paul, Steve and Daz all made me feel very welcome. The craic in the caravan and on the water was really good. I really enjoyed myself. The company more than made up for the fishing, there again the fishing wasn't poor, as Paul and Daz fish proved on Friday. It shows the quality of their fishing that they did so well on the Friday, they pulled fish out of water i had already fished The waves in that photo show the force of the downstream wind. I was pissed off after 1hr being unable to control the drift, they just kept pulling them out. Diolch boys, Lee.
