Fished the Rhymney today only managed Half a dozen, river running clear but still with a few inches extra on the water. Fish spaced out on the river ,what a lovely morning with the frost burning off.A pleasure to be out.

Myself and Bap had a lovely day on the Rhym today. The river is very low but the fish were still playing.Your never going to break any records on this river but numbers of fish make up for this with some great sport, the biggest may have nudged 40cm at a push, with a couple of 30cm fish thrown in but the majority were small.I also caught a couple of beautiful little brownies. Upper Severn tomorrow!...Saturday and Sunday on the Dee.It's a hard life. DAZ.
