Ure

Had a very enjoyable day out yesterday with Norsy, down on the Ure, didn't catch out but it was good all the same, highlight of the day was a scran swop at half time, 1/2 a meat and tatty pie for a Chicken and coleslaw buttie.

Did manage to prick a few fish, things were very hard going, couldn't understand it, as conditions were near perfect, only saw 2 fish rise all day, Norsy saved his blank by landing a cracking Brownie of 3 inch (and that may be an exaggeration) ;D,

Even the pictures i took were crap and blurd, one that did turn out was a picture of a setting sky through the black profile of the tree lined river bank


Norsy had been talking to a local old gadgy (he'll chat anybody up that lad, I think he was after his dog) ;D, and he said that fish stocks had dropped off rapidly in the past year or two and they were on about re-stocking, mebbis thats the reason we never got any, and were not crap anglers after all, well thats my excuse.

I just cant get over the two of yous performance! Im sure you did more laughing than fishing though.

Youve got it wrong there Mate, we havn't let the side down, we were on a charachter building mission, knowing that we can blank when everything is in our favour only makes us stronger, cos the next time we blank (and we will) it wont hurt as much
