Fished with PaulD on the Monnow yesterday. The river was high and coloured with a clay coloured tinge.
The fishing was hard, but the fish were there to be caught. I managed 7 Grayling, all between 32 - 38cms - beautiful little fish.
PaulD also had a few with a lovely 40cms+ fish a real cracker.
I also managed to lovely browns, one around 1 1/4lb and the other around the 2lb mark. Both fish were stunning, the nicest browns i've seen, very well mended.
All fish fell to bugs, a great day.
