Well its New Year, and the Grayling season continues to be a success for me. Today was planned for the River Tannat, but on our arrival the river was high, coloured and moving very quickly!!! We decided not to attempt to fish, but to move to another Shropshire Stream - further south. When we arrived this little river was again high, but not as fast moving, and the colour was dropping out of it. The fishing wasn't perfect but we all managed fish. I had 19 Grayling and a Brown Trout, lost a few other fish aswell. A good number of my fish were well over 30cms, the best going 38cms, no 40's but it was still a good day in conditions that were far from perfect, So here are some of today's pin up girls! Hoppy ;D ;D ;D

Wm, They were all caught on Pink Bugs - I varied the way they were fished, bewtween Czech Nymphing and fishing under a sight bob. I would have tried the dry, but they didn't start showing until late in the day! Hoppy ;D
