I have always wanted to learn how to weave, and thankfully i was given some simple instruction at the fly fair. So here are some of my first woven patterns, and a few ammonite nymhy thingybobs! First effort at the Weave Stretch Lace Nymph Pink ammonite Green ammonite Hoppy

Very nice hoppy, Hey you don't need to perfect this technique much more Fella, the one at the top (green) looks very buggy, would confidently fish with that.

The laydees love a little bit of pink dont they. I fancy that ammonite number big-style. You'll be plaiting your own pig-tails next. Look out world!

Were the weavin' instructions as per alternating the overlapping "knot " on one side o' da 'ook then the other Swannundaze or larva lace makes for a nice flattened segmented l :ok : Still stickin'.....Andrew

Very good and neat tying there Hopster, very impressed. Far too nice to be thrown at grayling though - think 3-4 materials and tied within 3 minutes, then you have the perfect grayling fly ;D
