Okuma 480ES Made from graphite, only spindle and gears are metal. Decent adjustable drag Optional audible ratchet My estimation of capacity WF9F plus 200 yards of standard backing- more if you use braid. Seller:- www.knkfishing.comCurrent offers on eBay:- #170057482687, #170019283760, #170020348689, #170057477214, #170026693834 I have no cnnection with the company but over recent months have made 3 purchases from them of 1, 1 and 3 of the above reels respectively. The batch of 3 cost just over £13 each including postage from Malaysia. The service has been superb and delivery averages 5 days. They don't sell spare spools, hence the multiple purchases. Nice, cheap, good capacity saltwater tollerant reel. I hope this gives some of you a useful source and confidence in eBay and Paypal. Mike

I can recommend the Ron Thompson Dynadisc as a cheap saltwater reel.
I bought one (2 in fact) at last years game fair from the uk saltwater fly fishing stand, where they recommended them highly. They were about 20 quid each and have got a rock hard drag. I think you can still get them from north west angling company.
