When the EAW took their responsibilities seriously. From Glas y Dorlan, Spring 1997 We have poachers brought to justice. Canoeists in court for disturbing spawning fish, and a Mr. Andrew Schofield expressing his concern about foul-hooking in the Ogmore estuary. Nowadays he’d just hope it would rain so they’d all go home!

Nice one barcud,
Not noticed you about much, but with a library like yours you are really welcome. I hope your memory is equally good
Could it be that Mr Schofield is of the view that there is no poaching because, in his day, they caught them all?
We await the report from the review with great interest. Let us hope that some action will be recommended!
Come the hour, come the man!
Let's keep at 'em!

Very interesting Barcud,
Two prosecutions on the ogmore in one magazine. More prosecutions that in the last 3 years put together!
But of course poaching has decreased in the past few years!
