Well here goes....am hopefully very close to selling my business and will be free for travel from June.
Have done some research and am planning a trip to Belize Kayak flyfishing. It would consist of about a week kayaking around flyfishing for Tarpon upto 100lbs, permit & bones (as well as everything else that moves). Sleeping in tents on islands or b+bs. It is for as low a budget as we want.
Initial costs seem to be about £650 return flight from london to Placencia (Belize). For this DIY trip - £150 for kayak, tent, sail + bits and blobs. Plus food & drink. I can see us spending no more than £1200 (top end) all in.
Anyone interested??
