Not sure where to post this but this seemed like as good a place as any. I cant help but notice and be impressed how many of you are on line so late at night, does this mean your night sea trout fishing habits have truly made you creatures of the night? Mike

Hi mike, this has been said before iy really is surprising how many stay up and on the forum, for myself i get by quite comfortably with 4 hours a night, i have done that since a teenager and yes i have always since about 12 night fished, often fishing 24 hour stretches with very little sleep if any on Liverpool dock wall when the cod were in . a missed night is hardly noticed,

Hi Silverinvicta Dont tell me how i know but i just knew you would reply. A man after my own heart i think. I just seem to come to life after dark. Even during the 24 hour daylight in the summer months i seem to have more energy after midnight even though its daylight.

Just finished another batch of flies for the Kola... taking it easy for an hour or so to unwind before bed @3.00.... up at around 7.00, to start on 100 rainbow lures/nymphs.Should be finished n in the pub for about 15.00.
It's necessity that keeps me up to the wee hours... can't afford these carribbean fly-fishing hols otherwise!

Ive only recently been able to sleep at night.Since I had a lengthy stay in hospital I had to do what the nurses said or they'd never have let me out again.Seriously tho' since childhood Ive never been able to sleep much and it seemed natural to go on to working in the music industry.Working mostly all night when in town or round the clock til the job was done if on site jobs suited me fine. Its only recently, back on the farm, that ive kept more usual hours and thats for the sake of the livestock.Even so,I may have trained myself to go to sleep earlier but staying asleep is another matter...........
