Introduction

Hi Everbody,
I have been monitoring this site for about a year now and thought it was about time I joined and introduced myself.
I come from Northamptonshire and have been fishing for sea trout as a guest on the Towey in Camarthen for the last 10 years or so.
I make several visits each year and although I get great pleasure from fishing at night I must admit I come away fishless most of the time. So 'm hoping that by joining this sight I will improve my catch rate. Please keep the info coming about catches and river conditions.

hi phil welcome many years ago i had the same problem night after night blank .i fish the nith and found the single most thing that helped me increase my success rate was increase the size of flies ,all i use now is 6-4 single low water salmon hooks. tandems or snakes, mostly black&silver with great success. ps. if they are there. tightlines jim.

HI there buzzerman and welcome.I take it you mainly fish still waters with a name like that??
I was wondering do you mind telling me what tackle and flies you have been using in your 3 years in persuit of the silver tourist?
