hi i usually use worm or spinners to catch sea trout n i was thinkin of tryin fly fishin i have a fly rod i use for brownies was just wonderin if it would be alright to use this rod for sea trout

what is it mate, what line rating etc Im no expert but i would think the length and line rating depends on the water being fished, this is from what i have gathered on this forum..For the towy i use a 10' 8 # , but im sure there are waters that a 10 footer would be too long. Again someone on here will im sure point you in the right direction. Good luck

thanks it is a 10' 8# it was a present from my grandfather sure he probly used it for sea-trout eny way

the river clyde its in glasgow used to be polluted because of the ravenscraig now thats shut down the waters alot better and ive had my fair share of fish out of it biggest one was a 12lb salmon my first ever lol
