ask hoppy, on his first throw he put out 42 + yards with my intermediate!!!! You left out..... OFF A CLIFF.. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Sorry Hop!....Couldn't resist. Daz, Cliff or no cliff the line still went right across the river at Nantgarredig and further It was one hell of a distance line - i'm not the best at casting by any distance - but the i still managed to get the line across. I should imagine that the stretch of the Tywi is one of the widest above the tide and the line did fly! Not that you'd ever need to cast that distance on the rivers that i fish ;D Hoppy

OK!....Off the bridge then. ;D.....If you say you did it mate, you did it....Thats good enough for me!. Thats a "MASSIVE DISTANCE" by anyones standards,so don't say you can't cast....Fair play!. The only thing thats confusing me is......There's been alot of talk on here about the softer actioned rods, open loops, tangles etc!,but surely all those go out the window when you are throwing these sort of distances ?....It's huge mun!. To chuck those sort of distances I would have thought you would have to throw mega tight loops, and generate massive line speed,on a relatively stiff/fast-actioned rod - which = Tangles. Also, how would you know when to hit it at night without seeing you back cast ?. JJ...If these lines are going to be available on the market in the future ? and you got a cut in it ?....Give up work mate.....your gonna make a fortune. ....Especially if you state on the box how far Hoppy cast with it. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D DAZ. P.S....JJ...Can't you give us any info on them ?.

:oAll this talk about a Rod, Whats up with the good old pointy stick, it cuts out all the complicated stuff, you dont need all the fancy lines to load em. Just off to the Hazel coppice for next seasons rod. ;D ;D ;D SMW
