him john, i bought the bib and brace for two reasons the all in one restricts your movement and very often i don't need to wear the top as with all things its up to the wearer . your right you don't have to spend a lot of money ,but quality cost,s . if you want to fish in the winter then you must stay warm billy p

Billy, I was not referring to your taste in underwear,I had not seen your post when writing mine. I was answering Nikolin's query about FLEECE. and a decent one piece set of FLEECE dont have to cost the earth. And in many years of using fleece I aint ever been restricted using the correct size. I have tried other thermal underwear ie Damart.. was not impressed...and found a similar one that Marks and Spencer sold at almost half the price of Damart was FOR ME much better.. I still like fleece, nice and light quick drying after washing and when layered correctly excellent. A windproof top layer is important.. I did a lot of winter cod & Whiting fishing in temps down to minus 18 degrees.. and have always been comfortable... Si

;D ;D ;D ;D sorry john i thought id upset some one he he just bad timing lol ,i know what your saying mate i just like my thermals as like you i do a lot of winter sea fishing when the rivers are up or shut and i had one of those all in one fleece,s for years but i put so much weight on since packing the fags in that i need a thiner layer lol ;D ;D ;D

another item I've found invaluable is a pair of waterproof socks(Sealskinz). Never come accross a pair of waders, breathable or neo's that haven't leaked around the feet yet, and using the sealskinz keeps your feet warm as well as dry. Cap

Thanks for the advice but where do I get bib and brace fleece outfit from please. The only supplier seems to be GAC and I understand it could be next winter when I get them from them.Any better suppliers ? A brand name would be great. BR Graham
