I saw a plastic Devon minnow mount made on another forum and thought that they were a good idea,simple and cheap to make,aswell as doing away with the weight of a conventional wire mount,all the materials you need are tulip beads and some 2mm plastic tube and some glue.. stumpy...

That looks like a great idea! Where can you buy tulip beads at? do they come in differnt sizes? Also where can you get 2mm plastic tube? First post,

Hi there,most tackle shops sell tulip beads,as far as i know they are a standard size,make sure you buy the plastic ones and not the rubber ones,the plastic tubing can be bought on ebay or alternatively you can use the plastic tubing used for making cone head tube flies available from Mchardys..
