For me, multi sectioned rods are the way forward. Once I wouldn't look at anything other than 2pc, 3pc at a push. Humping those rods around the place was no joke, especially through airports, and what converted me to multi sectioned rods? It was a bloody far eastern NUMPTY trying to half inch my rod collection, about 5 grands worth at heathrow. Ever since I've converted most of my rods to the multi's, and to be honest, the best thing I've done. I can now transport all my rods in one case along with everything else one needs for a trip to foreign pastures. As for rod action, they are the same as or better than the 2pc rods I had and just as strong. My next couple of builds will be on CTS blanks, so I'm looking forward to starting them just after christmas. Cap, ;D ;D ;D

I got the Greys Streamflex 9' 4# 4 piece rod earlier this year and find it a smashing rod. Very light, can nymph no problem all day with it, & a fantastic piece of kit for the dryfly.
I'd highly recommend it for Grayling fishing, & a great price too. The Streamlite reels go a dream with it as well. It's worth a try.
