I would welcome any advice on cleaning fly lines.Would a mixture of washingup liquid and bleach damage the line?

A basin of luke warm soapy water does the job for me, leave it in the water for a good soak before wiping with a cloth. Don't think I would risk using bleach though If your seatrout fishing, you don't want an as new (shiny) line flashing every time you make a cast and I also think the bleach will leave a lasting scent on your line which could put the fish off, I would have thought .

I agree with Annanangler, warm soapy water NO BLEACH....also at the end of a season I will apply a plasticer to my lines to keep them supple, but make sure if you do it, to only use a product recommended by the lines maker, as the wrong one can destroy your line, and only use the way it states on the product lable...
