Does anyone know if ATH Design in Denmark are still producing Ari Hart reels and if any contact details are available.
I want to get a Lake Taupo F3 model but rarely see the m for sale. I had an email address for them but my pc crashed and I lost it.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Now - I'll admit to being one of the world's most committed 'tackle tarts' but I'm afraid the ATH reels leave me entirely cold. They are undoubtedly beautiful pieces of engineering but I find them far too idiosynchratic for my taste (such as it is). Am I alone in thinking like this?

Yeah, a couple of them are a bit OTT and would best remain as collectors' items, but I think that some of them meet an equilibrium between practicality and design. For example, the Gallatin 2 that I've got is nicely designed but also very practical: www.moulinet-peche.com/images-produit/z1-jpg/z1792.jpgThe lodge I visit on the Rio Grande had Ari Hart visit them on a couple of occassions. They told me that his manner was as 'wacky' as his reels ;D A superb engineer if nothing else. TT.
