I'm thinking of getting a 9'6" #7 for stillwater work, and was looking at the Sharpes Gordon and the new Redington Redfly2, that sort of price range, when I came across the Daiwa Whisker at half the price. Now I know that some of you guys have the longer model for ST fishing so was wondering if you could tell me if it's worth buying or going for the other two more expensive rods. Cheers.

hey aled,
Visit Ebay
i had a daiwa whisker spinning rod and snapped it during a flood last year, bought a rod on ebay for like £15 - "distinction" the brand name is called - for £15 its a steal, and is exactly like the daiwa whisker.
