I was wondering if anyone else uses one of these or a similar item, below is a picture of a seymo loop tyer, have found this to be a really useful bit of kit for all my leader loops etc when im salmon or seatrout fishing(especially at night),it does two sizes of loops in a matter of seconds, and are perfect every time,it always ties a nice tight knot,(used 17lb irion silk below)and at 99p its a bargain, stumpy.....

Buzz, this step by step might make it look a long winded job,but believe me you will tie a perfect loop every time in less than 10 seconds in any conditions, step onetake leader material and form a loop, step twoform a simple overhand loop, step threepass end of loop back through again to make a double overhand loop, step fourmoisten leader material and take loop tyer and place front loop over longest prong and back loop over shorter prong step fiveholding loop tyer firmly pull leader material from the short pronged side and loop should start to pull down and get smaller, step sixremove loop off of shorter prong, step severnhold loop tyer firmly and pull every thing tight, step eightyou should be left with a perfect loop, lastlyltrim off loose end and you are left with the loop, stumpy.......
