::)This may sound a bit cheeky but some people have mentioned about swapping and lending fly lines,i would like to ask if anybody has got a wet cel fast sinker that they have used and may be going to discard as i fish at llandovery and as the pools are not to wide i would get away with a line that is past its best if you no what i mean,i would only use this line about 3 times a year,i am willing to pay for it just carn't justify buying a spanker for the use i will get from it.(its only for use on 2 small pools at llandovery one which is narrow 3/4's of its lenght and has got a deep belly then widens out into tail and the pool just below on the sharp right hand bend, think hoppy calls this the middle pool, which is also very deep). stumpy............

Hi Stumpy I have a Cortland Type 3 Sinking line in a WF8 you are welcome to have. It has only been used a couple of times but has been on a reel over a year so is probably suffering from some memory, but I 'm sure this would stretch out. As the name suggests the line sinks at approx 3 inches per second. I remember the line cast reasonably well and seemed to get down in those deep middle Towy pools. Anyway it is now surplus to my requirements. If its any use (or if Stumpy doesn't want it anyone else ) let me know and I will post it. Obviously free to a good home where it might get some use.

DO you guys never buy mill ends? i remember getting a mill end from a shop and it turned out to be a Wet Cel 1 intermediate, the kelly green one, its a great line for a fiver. Still got it yet, but use it now for interm'e tips. Spending £30-£40 just for sea trout is plain crazy!!!!!!!!!!
