Just in case that some of you have missed it, or are unaware of its existence, Charles Rangeley-Wilson, corespondent for the Field magazine, has got a fishing show appearing on BBC2 named The Accidental Angler.
I think it's on every Sunday night at 8pm. I watched the one a few days ago when he was in Brazil, and it made great viewing. well worth watching, compared to usual fodder we're faced with.
I had the pleasure of taking Charles fishing on the Teifi a few years back and we've been in contact ever since, he's a great guy with a true passion for the sport. His book, somewhere else, makes a great read - mainly about his fishing days in exotic locations, but a fair few 'homegrown' chapters too.

I had the pleasure of taking Charles fishing on the Teifi a few years back and we've been in contact ever since, TT. Yes well, despite that he seems generally unaffected and able to present a really excellent problem. ;D The programme about trout fishing in Bhutan was fabulous and personally I love the 'travelogue' style. Te colour of the costumes, the scenery really enforces what an adventure fishing should be. Great to have a fishing series that isn't tackle, rig, method phobic - Charles R-W you are a star and well done for maintaining a love of fishing having once fished with Steff'. ;D

As P.B. & T.T. both say, a really good program, i like the format, as described. I too, enjoyed the Brazilian Peacock Bass hunt, no big fish, but lots of colorful incidental action and chat, an easy to watch look at a different world. Keep it up B.B.C. more similar progs for me please. Si.
