I'm sure they'd attract sewin, although 12 and 13cm is getting a little on the large size.
(Those who know me will understand that if I think a lure is large - it's large! ;D)

I have some 3 & 5 cms Yo-zuri, well made and attractive to fish (follows only). Mine are clear and were included in one of the bulk spinner sales. Good lures Hoppy

Yo-Zuri have some good stuff, got my personal best pike on one of their lures. Shame I did not persist with the fly! The lures under discussion seem rather large for seatrout, and although I am in fact an advocate of large lures these would be extreme even for me. Something around about 3 1/2 inches would suit me better. TL MC

Please everyone do NOT disagree with Baltic / MC / Mike Connor or he may or may not threaten to close your site down Hoppy. He has tried to do this on a previous occasion.

Keep at it Baltic, the Danish Posts and this one have been constructive. Hoppy PS MCFC - would you like to identify yourself?

Wotcher,
I own a couple of YZ plugs bought for bass (or baaaaaasssssss as Mr Boote puts it). They look the dog's danglies and have a great action.
I have the ST and Joey mackerel patterns in 11cm - both of which I'd happily use on the Mawdacch/Wnion junction next year given what I saw the other anglers chuck (and catch on) this past September!

sounds pretty good! cant wait to give em a try! i will be using them for river pike as well. the one i got 11cm minnow with a bright red bottom and bright silver flanks, a pike could never resist this!!!!
if you cant disagree with people on a forum is it even a forum? freedom of speech mate! never be afraid to question authority, if everyone was where would we be today?
was it salmon or sea trout they hooked last september JT unspun?
only thing with these lures is the price tag, the sorta lure if u get caught it a snag and u loose it, your going in after it........ ;D

Defintiely salmon.
Agreed about the price tag so, if you can get hold of 'em, then the old Abu Terminators are remarkably similar and, again, very realistic in a range of patterns...cheaper too.

Yo-Zuri do make lovely plugs. Back in the late Nineties I picked up a load for a quid or so each when a local shop which "did a bit of tackle" besides lots of other things had to relocate owing to a rent hike. I had all of their floating Minnows in 11 and 13cm, a number of the sinking version, plus some medium to truly monstrous (saltwater / pike) sized other patterns. I have since had salmon on the 11cm floating minnows (in three colours), plus Indian mahseer, British bass, pike, perch and chub. Very expensive bits of kit, I hear, but very very pretty and well-made...

Please everyone do NOT disagree with Baltic / MC / Mike Connor or he may or may not threaten to close your site down Hoppy. He has tried to do this on a previous occasion. TL MCFC After a slight case of hiccoughs elsewhere, I decided to post an answer to an information request on this board, under the nickname BALTIC. From force of habit, I signed one of the posts with my usual sig, TL MC. Which made the whole exercise rather pointless. As some will doubtless know, I post to quite a few places, and except for years ago, when I used another sig. in a few places, I have always posted under my own name. No point in doing otherwise here either really. It was just an impulse in any case, driven mainly by some unfortunate recent events. Apart from which, if I used any other pseodonyms now, it might disappoint my fan club. keep up the good work lads. In return for a small donation to a charity of your choice, or any conservation organisation, and of course your real name and address, I will send you a signed photo which you can disagree with till the cows come home. I still think yo-zuri make some great lures. They even get takes from predators here! Anybody else who has an axe to grind, my e-mail is mike-connor@t-online.de No point posting such silliness here, as I will not reply to it again, and the people on this board can doubtless do without such nonsense. Regards and tight lines! Mike Connor
