got some from tightlines the other week. fishing with them the other (v dark) night on the fowey i had a couple of fish and several takes, whilst my bother (who wasn't using them) didn't have a touch. hence i was very sad to lose my last one in a tree!!

Very expensive to loose!
What i'd suggest are the Firefly lumi beadas, about £1.50 for 20, its far less upsetting to loose these, and they glow very well

Another suggestion is the glow in the dark t-shirt paint - waaay cheaper and just requires the odd flash of a torch to keep it happy. Available from places like hobbycraft for a couple of sheckels.
When tying just a dab either at the tag point or at the eye.
Really does well with SWFF flies for things like scad at night as well - especially on the white clousers.

I was fishing with them a few years ago on a (v dark) monday night on the River Spey ( Nethy bridge pool) * maybe becouse Fish had ben rested as no Sunday fishing ??
Best night yet - had a 16 fish 1.5 to 3Lb in 4 hours and missed several takes, whilst local angler (who wasn't using them) didn't have a touch.
Also managed to drink a bottle of glenliver between 2 other anglers wading down the pools
the Local angler however hooked and landed a 12lb salmon at first light on a weighted montana nymph !!
