Hi, I Have just noticed that the tip ring on my spinning rod is damaged, it is a fuji ,ceramic lined type. Does anyone know a way of removing a tip ring without resorting to cutting it off and shortening the rod length. Cheers, Wnion.

Depends what it was stuck on with! Some companies use a form of hot melt glue to attach tip rings to make repairs easier - so applying heat may be the answer. If it has been epoxied then it's the junior hack saw I'd expect!

Cheers for the advice PaulD , I will give the heat option a try this week. Tight lines, Wnion.
