looking for a new landing net (sea trout-salmon) any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

Something large and round that you strap on your back. You can feel a fool when you're catching sprats but are glad of the thing when the real thing is on. A Gye type net I'm talking about. There are lots of makes now. I have a couple of old Sharpes, one's a salmon Gye, the other a Falkus. Both are large and round, and sink big fish well. But if it's small stuff you aremostly catching, then use any folding trout net - and brick it when you hook the big one!
