Stimulated by Pear Shaped Thread . . .
Seriously though - to stimulate extra comment - I have noticed that my bum looks very large (!) in my chest waders and (now getting completely serious) find getting in/out of them a real pain compared to normal thigh boots. I use the Ron Thompson neoprene type that go inside felt wading boots rather than 1 piece: (waterproof and great on slippery surfaces but basically too cumbersome )
Does anyone have any comments about the best chest waders (or waders if there are any good reports?)
Barbed-wire proofing of course would be of interest . ..

barb wire proofed would be good, I have to get through an absolute jungle before I get to my best pool. Airflo make nice waders and so do snowbee and scierra. You should be able to get some good fitting neoprenes for 100 pounds.

I have gone through lots of waders, but i have had my simms neoprenes now (FB size) for 5 seasons. I have fished all types of places and find them great.
If you already have wading boots i would go for these they are £129.00 and come with a guarantee.
Expensive - but my snowbee and ron thompson ones only lasted a season
Worth a look
