this is more for you salmon guys ,with DH rods . Some where else on a US forum I begged a couple of these lines to reveiw , I am pleased so far they are exactly as described in the cataloque . Saturday nite I stripped an old Teeny nasty of a system2 #10 reel and loaded a 1d 8/9 line . Not a fair test at all ,a group with mad chefs cocktail cabinets and of spring went to Folkestone for a Tad of SWFF , matched with a St Croix 7/8 rod the line seemed under weight over head casting ,that was until I got onto a concrete slab where I could setup a wee D loop . where the howling wind allowed I had the easiest distance casts I have yet to do in SWFF ,not that I have done alot . I like the line smooth ,very supple ,No memory The cocktail cabinet commented on this and the pleasant feel . Do watch this space , I will be giving this line a test shortly on running water ,and of course the slightly longer 2d which should be more like what I am used too . P.S. thanx Bob W

No point in asking where I could buy a Jungle thingy cape then.
All this "Thingy" business makes sound as if we are getting forgetful.
