Gentlemen of the Dee,
I had the following email from Steve Evans of the sea angling community that I thought may be of interest to you as it would seem that salmonoids in the the estuary may be affected by the proposals.
Regards.

I know the reference to me being a Dee angler is incorrect, but that aside.
I suppose that you as the bona-fide 'sport fishermen' of the Dee have been made aware that the EAW are currently reviewing their byelaws. Various proposals have been put forward by the various 'consultees'; a lot of these proposals are from the trawlermen requesting that existing laws regarding allowed times, areas etc are relaxed. Are you aware if the Salmon and Sea Trout fraternity have been asked to provide proposals (input) to this process? Regards Steve
