FOR SALE ALLCOCKS' "Marvel" 4" Salmon Fly-reel. This is a good, solid, well-made fly reel, bought new in 1955 and has been well-cared for throughout its' life. Current-and sole-owner (me) given up salmon fishing and would like it to go to a good home. There is some honest paint wear to the frame and reel-seat, but otherwise, it has no dents or damage whatsoever, and is in absolute first-class mechanical condition, with years of wear left in it. A fully useable-or collectable-vintage reel. With hard-chromed metal line-guard and duplicated adjustable mechanism set for RHW, I can convert it to LHW, if required....Please PM in the first instance..

'Mole, im sorry to say this splendid reel is outside my purview as I usually fish the ditches we know as rivers down here and t would be too large, and it is too much a piece of history to waste on SWFFing.........BUT........I would be very interested in acquiring some copied pages of your Fishing Gazettes,at my expense of course,if that was at all possible.... ?If its not practical then I wont be insulted, you'll just have to read them out to me over the phone ;D ;D ;D ;D Shocker the chiselling scrounger ;D
