I have had a few emails asking if we are only seeking support from organisations? No, we are seeking PM's or emails of support from individuals who's names will be added to the list of individual supports. This is being kept separate from clubs, federations and societies. All the best and thanks to those of you who have made contact so far.

Pledged my support to this excellent initiative earlier in the week.
As promised HP, posted this to keep the topic on top and persuade a few more Forum members to support your efforts.
Keep up the good work.

I offer my full support in your efforts in this campaign. Allthough not a member of any of your local clubs or fisheries if just adding my name will be of any help then add Andrew Hennessey to any petition list I endorse you by proxy Perchance your fisheries will not go the way of "our depleted cod stocks over on "dis side o' 'da big pond. Still 'stickin'.....Andrew

Thank you Andrew,
Your support is gratefully received and most welcome. There is no need to be a member of anything to sign up as supporter of the campaign, just to be an angler who cares.
All the best

I too offer my full support to any campaign be it for Wales or anywhere else in the UK. This is of paramount importance if we are to maintain and/or improve current fish stocks in our waters. Most of us anglers who care about our fishing environments strive to help our fish stocks by operating effective catch and release and taking only the occasional fish for the table. However 100 anglers releasing 100 fish achieves nothing, if one poachers net catches 100 fish. The problem with poachers is they don't want one fish they want all the fish! Not only do our waters need to be policed effectively, but any offenders punished severely too! Highplains you have my full support ....................thanks.... Mark Tinning.

Thank you Mark,
Your support is most welcome and gratefully received.
May I urge other to follow your example. This campaign needs to have the authority that big numbers of supports will provide. As it stands the numbers grow daily but we need more. It only takes a minute to PM me or to send an email and every supported counts. Your fish and fishing needs you. Sign up now!
Please

I have yet to catch a sea trout but do fish for the brown variety. I live in Wiltshire and have followed this forum for quite some time before becoming a member fairly recently. I have to say that I find the forum very interesting and informative with lots of posts from folk who clearly know what they are about.
However, I am amazed at the apparent lack of response to Highplains' appeal for the Protection of Welsh Fisheries.
I would urge all of you who have not yet responded to do so without delay. It does not take long and the success of the appeal depends on signatures - lots of signatures. So, come on guys, send in your messages of support before it is too late.

Just seen this now ( back from hols ) Please add my name to the list.
Ps - Campaigns do work - I deal with them on behalf of Goverment Ministers as part of my job. The Ministers don't see anglers, they see voters. Let 'em know they won't get our vote and they will take note - believe me ....
Cheers
Richard

Thanks Richard,
Your support s most welcome and gratefully received.
The support is growing steadily and the numbers are improving. WE STILL NEED MORE to follow your example. I hope your comments will encourage others to follow your example. The EAW may be laughing at us now but I am determined they will cease in the fullness of time.
Thanks again
Allan

Common mun! lads. Take note of Tricky's post.....Numbers "can" make a difference. To all who have signed up!...Many thanks. ....To all that have not....You should be ashamed of yourselves. .. I hope you never catch another fish. ...Saying that,a few years down the line it may be the case for all of us,unless we try and do something about it NOW! DAZ.
