Stumpyguy requested some waddingtons to be tied in one of the Denmark posts, Daz stepped up to the mark and tied the following patterns. I was intrigued to see a red and white pattern, as its something I wouldnt have considered, but having seen these patterns they really do look great! For those interested DAZ is offering a 'tailor made' fly tying service for persons with specific patterns in mind. For those interested pm DAZ, more details coming soon

Like many of you I imagine, I too have been struggling lately, having to contend with constant high and coloured water. Then, last night, I gave one of Daz's special, deep-water copper tubes a serious try-out. They work. Bit of a so-and-so, trying to accurately cast a heavy fly with a #5 rod, but I have not had such a confident 'take' all season! Thanks Daz. I thought I could tie a reasonable heavy-water fly but I concede on this one !

Well done mate...Very well done Christ Dave....I bet you had a fight on your hands pulling that tube back on a 5wt cane ...and then a sewin goes and attaches its self to the other end ...I bet that was fun ;D ;D ;D ;D Thanks Daz. I thought I could tie a reasonable heavy-water fly but I concede on this one ! Oh! you do mate...you certainly do. Myself and David have been sharing a few pm's with each other over the last few weeks, and the topic of flies came up.I sent him a couple of flies to try out and in return he sent me some of is own creations...They are superb!,and I can't thank you enough for them....They still have pride of place on the shelf. We will never know if they will catch a fish down here. (I know they would though) Because, there is no way I am risking losing them. ;D Many thanks again, and well done. DAZ.

Here's a couple taken recently on that very same fly David. DAZ. Nice pics, but did you have written consent to utilise and post that top photo? p.s. I thought that you only caught schoolies on the tail? that fish must be, ohhh I don't know, at a guess, 9lbs? ;D TT.

P.s. in all sincerity - a rare angle for me - if I were in the market for sea-trout flies then I would not hesitate to order from Daz; you certainly know what you are paying for - every fly that comes off that man's vice is immaculate. Credit where credit's due and all that.
TT.

I can echo that comment Steff....having watched Daz at work quite a few times now.. I am amazed how adept he is at the tiniest details, he is the same for himself as others....amazing.. a craftsman. A jealous Bap .... ;D ;D

he is the same for himself as others Yes, exactly JP, that's the thing! consistency. He is meticulous in his tying. It may take a couple more days to get an order done, but I, for one, would be happy to wait. TT.
