Been a great year with the forum lads, nearly 1500 members now, superb! Let's hope that 2008 will be an even better one, and that we have 'kinder' night-time conditions.

Dear all, Its been a rollercoaster of a year, with some ups and downs - but in the end i've enjoyed myself alot. I dont think its been as bad as the Queens Horrible Anus! ;D My thanks to those who have kept the forum going, and going from strength to strength. ;D ;D I've met up with some 'Fishing Stars' from the forum this year, and its been a blast - thanks to all that have brightened me up - you know who you all are. Without you i'd have been a right state!!!! So the 'only way is up for 2008' on the Sewin front! and for the Grayling! Tight Lines, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all and your families. ;D See you all soon Hoppy ;D ;D ;D

And from me - the very best wishes to you all for Christmas and the New Year! Since taking this picture winter has loosened its grip and the temperature is beginning to creep up around here. All the Christmas preparations have been made - garlic luncheon meat, stinky cheese paste and a goodly supply of snake like lobs - a touch of rain to add a bit of colour to the river and everythings in place for a perfect Christmas and Mr Barbel. I think I'll be chancing my arm to suggest fishing tomorrow but a few hours on Boxing Day might be on the cards if I behave myself in the mean time.................................... so January 6th it is then! Have a great holiday guys and here's to you all for the New Year! Paul
