Don't like milky bars. JT, you are such a neanderthal! EVERYONE knows that milky bars are best served at room temperature!! P.s I really do like the thought of decending on steffs house like vikings from the north to raid his fridge.......... ;D ;D Straight from the heart me mate No problem at all, just remember to bring your brushes lads. As Lee will second; it’s very important to develop the appropriate muscle groups for casting, and there is no finer way to do this than with a bit of painting and building. I definitely think this should be incorporated into the weekend, and I won’t charge you much for this workout - although being an invaluable and integral part of becoming a good caster. I really am too generous at times TT. ;D

Hi Lads
Ive recieved a couple of messages regarding costs, although not important at this moment in time, what i would say is that a small donation would be appreciated from those attending wanting tuition, and i will leave it at that for yourselfs to sort..
For now the most important thing is that we establish a date/s suitable for everyone, then next, a venue...
Cheers
Lee

When they're down and locked in they will all be mine!!!!!!! ;D Any more interest? many hands make light work and all that! Plastered on Saturday night indeed! ;D TT.

A word of caution to the unwary and the innocent - Lee can, and will, cast all day - yes, ALL DAY - if there was an Olympic Event for long time, long distance casting then Lee would be a 'shoe in' for the gold medal!
Tell us all Lee, did you manage to get that Sage TCR straightened out after you'd cast it for the day? ;D
In all seriousness - if you can make it - you'll feel the benefit - highly recommended!

Hi Paul I am pleased to report that my 5#Tcr is still going strong... took many mullet with it this year and plenty of smallish sea trout later on in the season when they finally came in... Its getting a bit of an easier ride than normal at the moment cause all ive mostly been working on is speys, distance stuff has been good, but kept to a minimum for now.. I would like to focus on sea trout related casting for this day, plenty of speys and little repositioning tricks etc, overhead casting certainly, but not distance.... Hope you are well.. Cheers Lee

Sounds great - are you having any thoughts about location yet? Oh and TT Odd that you've hit a running theme in my life - clumsy, not much neck to speak of, a tad hirsuite etc... ...even my A-Level Biology teacher called me "the Missing Link" back in 1991. I only hope my daughter avoids these qualities

Not yet JT, at the moment we are still establishing how many would like to come, although no one has replied if the weekend of the 23rd/24th is ok..
I could arrange this weekend for the Park beat on the Dee, but its no good if no one can come on those days.... ;D

I'm sure I would be able to make the 23rd - 24th depending upon location. Thanks Phil

p.s. Let us know if you book Park. We shall be at Little Blackhall on 18-21 Feb and I wouldn't want to travel all that way twice!
