An idea how easy the venue is to reach by rail - I dont fancy a long drive in one day? Chasb, why dont you get in touch with Norsy and Starlmagwonder, they are both travelling down and you could share the trip. I think Starlmagwonder is coming from Kendal, so a trip over the A69 and down the M6 will make sense. I would say that Trentham is 1 3/4hrs from junction 36 of the m6. It might be worth it, pm the others Hoppy the fly fair is not to be missed!

Hello all, Just a few lines to say that I will be bringing along a small selection of some very thin strong film that I have acquired from work along on Saturday, it is great for bodies, at the moment I have only a limited selection of shades IE : Silver, Maroon, translucent blue & translucent pearl that reflects a reddish shade, there will be further colors to come such as yellow, green, purple etc etc as Production at work takes off.
As I don't pay for this stuff I don't expect any money in return, but if you would like to make a small donation to my favored charities (Cancer care/MacMillan Nurses) it would be very much appreciated. I intend to show you & dish the stuff out at lunch, if possible could you bring an average size envelope (A3) to put your samples in. If you take a fancy to the stuff there will be any amount once the film goes into full production at work.
Well thats about it, Look forward to meeting you all.
Starlmagwonder.

Great to meet all the guys today - Starlmagwonder, my wife wants to know how many sparkly backed grayling bugs I intend to tie, Norsy - man of the sea, a treasure chest of info about sea trout in the sea and Daz - like a kid in a sweetshop, watching Marc Petitjean spin CDC on a split thread. And of course, Steffan the bully, forcing young lads to tie him flies for tomorrow, in most environments that would be seen as abuse. Right, one last thing..................... if anybody mentions my pool playing exploits again................................... And of course all the others - very nice to meet Silver Invicta, Sid Knight, Apprentice, Cullster, Bobronte, Durk again.............. in all too many to mention including some bloke called Hopwood. (Tuniwes - you're a bad man!)

Shite....I traveled all this way for This It was like the tardis inside It was amazing!! I think your quote sums it up perfectly for me Paul.I only wish I could have had a few more hours there, could have spent all day in the fly tyeing tent alone.
