very interested in the advice given in this thread cos I need a new pair of chestys and I'm thinking of getting a pair of Silver Label ² Bootfoot Waders from the good old US of A but I'm wary of customs tax as I bought 600 yards of flourocarbon for £25 and then had to pay an extra £11.74 tax on it (still the same amount of line in this country would of cost £100 ).Has any of the members had experience of ordering from the U.S and how much extra roughly would I have to pay in tax to collect them. The waders cost $259 plus postage, would be greatful if anybody had any idea cheers

I was just wondering about the zip feature of the vision breathable waders.
If breathable waders seem so unreliable in general (from previous posts), is an additional zip a 'bridge too far'?
Seems a great idea if they seal properly.

Hi Offshore, there's a zip section on the front of my William Joseph breathables, along with 2 zipped front pockets and a zipped pocket on the back. I must say that I haven't had any problem with them thus far, but I was a bit sceptical about the idea myself. Only time will tell I guess. TT.

offshore,i have just purchased the new vision extreme waders and boots ,the waders have the zip front , i like you thought twice about the zip but i have to say i own two diving suits with heavy duty zips and the zip on the waders are every bit as good, so easy to put on or take of the legs up to the knee have five layers as does the bum , the rest have 3 layers the braces sit nicely on your shoulders in all they are very comfortable and the boots are to the same quality with a no quibble 12 month guarantee i paid £300 for mine with the boots as i am sick of buying a pair every year billy p ;D
