cheers to the boys on here who suggested the above rod. had my first casts on it last night on Varragil River during big spate. felt lovely and ok, i'm learning at roll/single spey casting but it felt easy to use with WF8F cortland peach. need to maybe get ghost tip line too but lovely piece of kit (envy of the lads in grahams inverness!). never caught owt, lovely conditions but never heard of spring fish off anywhere but snizort. hope that's why i blanked!
