Great piece of kit wouldnt be without mine now. Wilderness angler in the US is less than half price than Sportfish. Whilst i know i should support UK trade: 1 - why pay twice as much 2 - i dont really like Sportfish - bad experiences im afraid! Hoppy

These packs look just the job, would they stay clear of the water when wading or would you need to take them off and leave them on the bank

alun, tried my solo on yesterday and it sits roughly where the pocket is usually in my chest waders,so there is no need to remove it at all when fishing, thats why i think it will be better for wading than waist coats etc, because every thing is higher up and compacted dead in front of you,(my own opion mate)

Why not just buy a very large bra and dye it green?

I've got too many pockets as it is without a chest pack.
The number of times I've gone home convinced that I'd left something there when it had been in a pocket all along......
That's when a bra comes in handy, it's fun but impractical. A bit like Dunstan and pool.

Hoppy,
You recommended the Coastal - being the shortarse that I am how would this suit wading?
Or are the pockets/compartments waterproof and this isn't an issue?
Cheers,
Jon

JT, I went with this one - William Joseph Gear Bag Chest Pack Carry System www.wildernessangler.com/servlet/Detail?no=221The bag adjusts easily and sits right at the top of your chest, making it no problem for wading. They aren't waterproof per se, but offer some protection. At the price they are listed you can't argue! Hoppy Hope you were talking about the William Joseph stuff and not my bras!

Bill,
The USA doesn't usually recognise them, you need a credit card to do it. However i think if you contact them they might accept paypal - which can be done with a debit card.
