They got a good write up but not brilliant in TF's LA reel tackle test. I had a couple of bids on a S1, didn't win, but the winner got a bargain £103. free p+p (rrp £165).

I have seen these reels all over the net at the moment, and the ebay sales seem good deals.
However if you read the history of how they came to be for sale you may show some reluctance. If Vosseler have treated this person so badly, then what will aftercare be like? Can the dealer keep up with repairs, spares etc etc?
Whilst they look nice pieces of kit, i dont know if i'd risk one?

The reels are very nice and well made if a little heavy.

I have abused one sea-trouting in the salt for something like three years - I cant complain about it, other than it is a tad on the heavy side...
... IMHO Vosseler Reels do represent good value for money (made in Germany and all that ... the guy is however a plonker) but they are not in the same league as a Danielsson.

Hello All, this is my first post so I will like to say hello to all members, as for the Vosseler reels I also think that there are ok.
