Hoppy, Your response most certainly did NOT cause any offence and none was taken !
You do a wonderful job on this forum, it is greatly appreciated by yours truly as are your most constructive comments. Am planning to wet a line on the Fowey this season, time-or-two,-maybe when you are down this way you could show me how to REALLY fish for peal ? ? ?

ok I know its probably a bit late to join in on this, but about six years ago I bought what to me is the best tackle vest I have ever owned:a filson strap vest ( bought it while fishing in new york state) from a shop called The Urban Angler. first reason is it doesn't hold to much stuff so you are not wandering down to the river carrying the same load as a sherpa heading for Everest base camp, having this has taught me how much crap I used to take just in case I needed it when in reality I was never going to bloody use it so i didn't need to carry it in the first place. secondly it only has two main pockets on the front both are big enough to take reasonably two good sized fly boxes in and a very large pocket on the back, so unlike multi pocketed waistcoats you dont have the dilema of which d**n pocket did I put my Such and such in! IT is very well made, practical and well worth every penny I paid for it,I Love it!http://www.filson.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2092320&cp=2069836.2069837.2075100
