Had me worried there Hoppy - but they're not the same. They're the sort that Steffan must wear to do his waste deep Dee Ballet! ;D

The korkers seem about half the UK price if I remember correctly.
I suppose the problem is sizing when buying footwea r over the internet.
I have size 10 shoes - when you get yours any chance of a size comparison (ie stated sixe and actual size with waders on )?
Thanks in advance.

Sizing has been covered on other sites before. The general recommendation is that you go up two sizes for the UK. I went up a size and a half and the fit was perfect, but wish I went up two sizes to accommodate an extra pair of neoprene socks in winter. The Outfitters are considered to be a better boot than the Wetlands. I have read reports about the latter wearing extremely poorly. The Outfitters incorporate leather. Given the small price difference that exists after the respective discounts I would definitely go for the Outfitters (size allowing). www.wildernessangler.com/servlet/Detail?no=461

No need to get a size larger when buying Korkers. They have already made an allowance for a 4mm thick neoprene foot in the manufacture! Go for the normal shoe size. I speak from experience. Have a look at the Korkers web site, there is some good sizing information there. Fishtail.

I have a pair of Korkers (the next ones up from the Wetlands) and I had to go a size and a half up! Even then they are tight. I think Jan, amongst others, on the fish & fly forum has posted on this many times before and he recommended going up in size as well. Indeed your post is the first one I think I have come across that says diffeent. www.flyforums.co.uk/search.php?searchid=71562They might have allowed for the neoprene but have they alowed for UK sizing? Just bear in mind Korkers are made in the UK and exported to the US.
Whether the size tags are the UK size, US size or both should make everything clear.
I tend to up a 1/2 size or just try 'em on till a pair feels right!

Ah Ha as I thought. My korkers are labeled US 10, UK 9, Euro 44. I take a 9 and they are a perfect fit with Vision breathables with the extra size allowance built in. So if ordering from the US be aware you will be ordering the US sizes. Fishtail
