Mike can you bait fish over there for seatrout if the weather turns bad or is it against the rules. Norsy. You can use any method you like. Quite a few Danes use float fished herring strip, and stuff like that. A large number of them spin with various spinners and wobblers. Actually, at that time of year, it is extremely unlikely that the weather will be "bad" in terms of storms, wind etc. In spring and summer, it is only very rarely that one is unable to fly-fish. Well, believe it or not, that mainly depends on the weather! It can be very cold indeed, but this is not really likely in May. One is on the open coast of course, and there can often be a cold wind. May is really a transitional period on the Baltic, and the prevailing conditions dictate clothing and tactics. If it is warm and sunny during the day, then it is best to fish late evening and into the night, and that can be very cold. Mainly, the problem is the variability of conditions, which are difficult or impossible to foresee. It is best to bring along some warm clothing at any rate. One can always remove this if desired.
